Empowering San Francisco through civic tech

We are a diverse community of volunteers working to improve San Francisco for all. All backgrounds and experiences are welcome!

Who We Are

SF Civic Tech is a volunteer-run organization that creates technology products for community problems. We organize our free time to prototype, test, and ship open-source tech for public interest.

We're part of a nationwide network of civic tech organizations looking to make a difference in our community. We meet every Wednesday in downtown San Francisco. All skill levels and community members are welcome!
